The heart of our logo

Nothing moves without a drive

The symbol in our logo is an electric drive: copper coils in a ring, the rotor in the middle. Energise the coils one after another and a rotating field runs round, taking the rotor with it.

Drives like this – usually with a gearbox behind them – move the joints of humanoid robots: shoulder, elbow, hip, knee. Anyone who wants to maintain robots has to understand what happens inside. That is exactly where we come from: industrial service.

Use Cases

Where a humanoid already gets to work

Humanoid robots pay off wherever people repeat physically demanding tasks – in environments built for people. We check on site with you whether your task is a fit.

01Humanoid robot carries a box through a warehouse with racking

Logistics and warehousing

Moving crates and boxes between racking, conveyor and trolley, bringing material to workstations – on the same routes as your team, with no need to rebuild the facility.

Prerequisite: known routes, defined handover points.

02Wheel-based humanoid picks goods from a shelf

Goods-in and laundry operations

Pushing roll containers, unloading trucks, staging trolleys – routes that repeat the same way every day.

Prerequisite: level routes without edges.

03Four-legged robot walks across wooden beams on a construction site

Patrols and outdoor use

Inspection rounds, visual checks, work in wet, dusty or cold conditions – with models built for exactly that.

Prerequisite: the right protection rating, e.g. IP66.

Workwear

You can tell at a glance where it works

Hi-vis vest in the warehouse, suit at reception, apron in service: dressed for the job, a humanoid is instantly recognisable as part of the team – for colleagues, customers and guests.

How we work
From technical service

We understand the technology, not just the product

X-Tech comes from technical service. For years we have maintained plant and equipment in industry, hospitals and breweries – with a background in electrical and communications engineering, controls, sensors and networks.

That is exactly what a robot needs after delivery: someone who understands it, sets it up and repairs it.

Service network

70+ engineers in our partner network across Germany, plus our own technicians.

Spare parts

Original manufacturer parts, on request with installation and function testing.

Compliance

A robot is a machine. We check the Machinery Directive documentation for every model before delivery.

Point of contact

One person, from the first enquiry through to maintenance.

Process

How a project runs

  1. Site assessment

You describe the task. We look at routes, loads and workflows on site with you.

  2. Trial

Rental unit or demonstration at your premises – before you commit.

  3. Commissioning

Delivery, set-up and briefing for your team. Compliance documentation checked.

  4. Operation

Maintenance, spare parts and repair – with our own technicians and the partner network.

Plain talk

What humanoid robots can do today – and what they can't

The market moves fast. Here is the honest assessment, the same one we give in a consultation.

01 · Runtime

A single battery charge lasts a few hours, depending on model and load. For longer shifts we plan spare batteries and charging breaks in from the start.

02 · Tasks

Repetitive tasks in a familiar environment are the best fit. New tasks need training and testing – that is part of every project.

03 · Safety

Wherever people and robots share a work area, a risk assessment is required. We clarify that before the first deployment.

04 · Price

Compact models start in the low four figures, industrial models cost significantly more. Renting is the affordable way in.

Funding for care facilities

Up to EUR 12,000 from the state

Under Section 8(8) of the German Social Code Book XI (SGB XI), care facilities can receive a grant towards digital and technical equipment: the long-term care insurance fund covers 40% of the acquisition cost, up to EUR 12,000 per facility. We advise you on which solution qualifies for your facility.

Eligibility is assessed case by case by the long-term care insurance fund. This is not a substitute for legal or funding advice.
